On February 7th 2000, while Enrico Capozzi was fishing in Port Stephens Australia, he and his team of professionals successfully hooked, and landed this 735 lb (333.5 kgs) Black Marlin on 6 lb test line.
Four days prior to that on February 3, 2000 Enrico landed a Black Marlin on 2 lb test which weighed 159 lbs. 13 oz. (72.5 kgs).
He continued to fish in Australia's Great Barrier Reef for another month and on March 29, 2000, Enrico caught a Black Marlin on 4 lb test which tipped the scales at 152 lbs (69 kgs).
Enrico currently holds all three of these IGFA World Record Black Marlin catches.
